Call of the Star

This poem has been inspired by a few things:

1) The exciting new group ‘Tarot: Map of Consciousness’.

2) A picture I drew a while ago called ‘She of the Star’

3) The Tarot cards ‘The Tower’ and ‘The Star’ as I wanted to verbally express my fascination with these two cards as The Tower is a rather scary card at first glance – not one you want to pick first thing in the morning and depicts people leaping out of a burning Tower!! What I find amazing is that a most beautiful card ‘The Star’ follows directly after ‘The Tower’ card, which suggests (given my limited knowledge of the Tarot) that lessons learned from ‘The Tower’ will be greeted with the grace and beauty of The Star and all the positive energy this card brings.

This poem is ultimately about the process of growth, transformation and new beginnings. I hope you can relate to it both on a symbolic and everyday level.

I have often found in life when times are tough – good things are just around the corner.

Call of the Star belongs to the following groups:

Do not fear me, said the Tower
To pass my testing you will fall from my inferno – willingly
For only the brave encounter my wrath and I will test you and try you until you are ready to surrender

Here is my secret:
For I wish only to heal your shy heart
To sweep away the built up dust, from all corners of your being
To prepare you for the light of a new star which rises as a beacon of quiet and calm
I come to remould the textures of your land, using a fine masters brush

For I am gatekeeper
I am guardian for She…
She of the Star

She will infuse your cells with the glow of a new dawn
She will flow through your veins as would a mountain stream
She will open your mind to other worlds

The Star is calling you
Now...

    Beautiful…and really interesting.
Never had occurred to me this conversation, rather it is like a friend’s summoning to call her braveness and true strengh…
It speaks a lot of the depicting of your “card” the Star. For I wrote you a comment suggesting that the representation of the Star, showing just her face, had something , could have something o relationship with a kind of fear, or hiding , or unableness to “find her own place into this world”. And now I have seen that the Tower… is like a bolting really close Star,up on Heavens needing to come real close and abruptily to her sense, in order to make her feel a revolting movement in her Being.
I make you a proposal…think it coul be really challenging for you.. and it is to render another Star…that will express her full bloomed… having accepted what the Tower-Star is telling her, and show her all in her nakedness, in her fruitful relation with the Waters of Life…
This is becoming new …. fresh and should move… along… open new sceneries…
Many thanks…Emma…I have loved your words.
