This IMMEDIATELY reminded of many years exploring the forests around our subdivision in Connecticut alone as a child pretending I had reached the Land of the Lost where dinosaurs were marauding and pterydactyls were picking off members of my expedition one by one and the quicksand and leopard men with poison darts and I had to rescue the girl or die trying from grisly sacrifice to some heathen ritual… I wish my Connecticut forest had cool plants like this, I could have REALLY imagined something!
Thank you Syd for your lovely comment and taking the time to write……it made me recall how very magical somewhere like this can be when you are a child…so many possibilities of imaginings….I wish I could access that world more – without seeming weird!! As a child it is so acceptable to be in that magical place and also experience it with your friends!…..Many thanks again…much appreciated!
