If a person’s creativity flows from a tap, then that tap is connected to a tank of finite capacity: It must be filled up as well as drawn upon. Some 15 years ago, I was working in an industry that demanded creativity all the time. It was then that I saw what the dried up bottom of the tank looks like. It is not pretty.
And so I went awanderin’. Now, having taken leave of my comfort zone many times over, travelled, lived in different cultural settings and married possibly the only person in the world weird enough to be able to stomach my humour, I think the tank is finally full again.
Art? Heavens, no! I’ll spare you my etchings. I do, however, love getting my fingers jammed in the typewriter and sincerely and humbly hope you enjoy my contributions to Red Bubble’s blog, all-too-brief introductions to some amazing featured artists and various other bits and pieceeeeeeeesssss.
