I read this article over the weekend about an installation at the Tate Modern. It made me chuckle out loud, this whole idea of ‘getting it’ and ‘not getting it’ and what is it we’re supposed to be ‘getting’ anyway? I have to agree that there is something of the Emperor’s New Clothes about a lot of modern art. Here’s the link to Matt Rudd’s amusing excursion with his two-year-old son :) Please share your views on the subject!

The article is , indeed, funny – only what the author is poking fun at about isn’t “Modern Art”, but Conceptual, i.e. ‘Post-Modern’ Art.
