I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. Originally, it was a little Kodak 126 camera, with which I usually blew an entire load of film at a time, taking pictures of the ducks on the lake by my grandparents house.
Having conned my mom into letting me occasionally borrow her 35mm SLR camera at age 13, I have now been a serious freelancer/hobbyist for 22 years.
While my favorite subjects are action scenes, such as rock concerts and sporting events, I have a diverse portfolio. Subjects include the random beauty of nature, abandoned buildings and urban decay.
I still photograph ducks. All the time. At least I don’t have to pay for film anymore! Current camera is a Pentax ist*d, but I’ll shoot with anything within arms’ reach.
Oh, and I actually still shoot with my 35mm SLR’s too. They are like family.
I hope you enjoy my work! -Kelly
