Metallica by EvaMcDermott

Spending too much time in Cape Breton Highlands National Park photographing water falls, we missed sunset on Inverness Beach this evening but at least I was able to catch the metallic glow of dusk on an unusually calm and clear sky evening on October 14, 2010.

Thanks for looking. Thanks for any C&C.

I have always had a passion for photography and the natural world around us. I specialize in dramatic seascapes, beautiful landscapes, and natural abstracts. No matter where I am, I usually have a camera in hand waiting for “those moments of dramatic light.”. While I do use digital cameras, I still work with film because of the richness of colors that film naturally provides. I hope you enjoy my photographic vision of the places I love.

Nice to see you back Eva and what a glorious shot this is. That metallic sheen across the water’s edge is superb against the really superb colourful backdrop. That lone rock makes for a great fireground too.

  • Thanks Stuart. Been busy. Hope to spent a little more time here.
