This is a new perspective for me since I usually run down to the beach which faces west (alhough I ussually shot to the east). Decided to stay on the dunes this day. Thanks Stuart!

Eva , your images are stunningly beautiful. I’ve been seeing more and more HDR work lately, but haven’t attempted it yet. So is this photomatix or just great use of grad NDs?
When I checked out the photomatix “pitch” site (which I’ve bookmarked), I got the impression that so much photography can be better-rendered using this application, that there’s just no question. I got the sense that “tone-mapping”(?) was a good shortcut in their toolbox. Have you tried that? BTW—check out my Gingko Leaves, they’re from Sudbury!
