Photography has been my hobby – my passion for over 35 years (opps, maybe close to 40) – 35mm, medium format, and even 4×5 including darkroom work from Color Neg, and Color Transparency. While I have done digital photography for sometime, I bought my first DSLR about 6 years ago – a Canon 20D. I now use a Canon 5DMII with Canon L lenses – EF 24 – 70mm 2.8L, EF 70-200mm IS 2.8L, EF 100mm f3.5L, TSE 24mm f3.5, 2X Extenders, and a variety of ND graduated filters. I am also started to get back into film to some degree.

I take mainly Landscapes, Waterscapes, Nature, and Macro Photographs in both B&W and Color. I use a variety of tools – a polarizer and sometimes a variety of graduated neutral density filters to improve tonal range of my digital images. I shoot all my images in RAW format and use Lightroom and PS CS5 for just basic editing.

I love to travel for the sake of taking photographs. Some of my favorite places are Maine, Nova Scotia, Desert Southwest, Pacific Northwest, California, Alaska, Hawaii. I recently traveled traveled to Scotland on a Transient Light Workshop and just have to go back….. my new favorite place..
