Place de la Madeleine, Paris. Metro Madeleine
A short stroll from Place de la Concorde down Rue Royale is Place de la Madeleine. la Madeleine was built as a Church in the time of Louis XV and styled after a Roman temple with 52 magnificent Corinthian columns. Central to a massive public square, this area of Paris is bustling and lively with cafes, restaurants and designer shops including Massimo Dutti, Ralph Lauren and Cerruti. While looking in the window at the beautiful French tailoring, the light changed and I took this reflected picture. Contrasting black and white version below.
