Very interesting light effect. I can see the figure in the light. I assume they are swinging something like a giant sparkler….

Sort of. We barely dipped two thin, long bits of firewood into water (not pictured: the Pacific Ocean, slightly to the left) and set fire to what wasn’t wet. The model decided to strike his makeshift sparklers against one another as he moved around, hence the downpour of embers shown. Thanks for the comment!

Marvelous!! And I think being surprised by happily failing to predetermine is a perfect way to describe a happy artist! And I sometimes need that little reminder to appreciate and always be prepared for Randomness, which is all around us anyway, when you think about it!!
