I am a fan of tennis, I also play a lot. In 2009 I was lucky to win a ticket for Day-1 of Wimbledon Championship. What a thrill! For the first time I sort of experimented on B&W, as I switched my camera and shot exclusively with one lens (Nikkor 28mm/2.8D). My aim was not the players and extreme close-ups, as I didn’t have the appropriate equipment nor ticket (far up on the standings). So I went hunting for different moments. Like this one of the ball boys and girls, that go through a hard year’s training in a special kind of school for their role and they feel honoured if selected.
