Pagoda Dreams (IR)
On the photo you see the part of Koshoji Temple and its five story pagoda on the left.
_____
Koshoji Temple, which was established by the Tokugawa family, dates from the 17th century and consists of a number of fine buildings including an impressive five-storey wooden pagoda completed in 1808. The temple and grounds of its attached graveyard are situated in pleasant woodland on Yagoto Hill just a few minutes walk towards Imaike from Yagoto on the Iida-kaido. Koshoji temple hosts an annual “1,000-Lantern Festival” at the harvest moon and is a pleasant place to walk or just relax.
