Metamorphous of the soul - 1997. Oil and acrylic on masonite.by Ash Belsar
Two leaves are exiting a tunnel and morphing into the shape of a bird. The tunnel represents the human heart with a view to an amazing hope in the future represented by a fiery sunset, stars, a comet and lightening. The leaves have broken off a plant which is extending from the tunnel. The leaves are the human spirit taking flight, broken of from the cares of this world which is the plant and the beauty of this world represented by the flower on the plant which pales into insignificance against the sunset into which the morphing leaves are headed toward.
