My dear friend and Insects & Angels collaborator Bethany Grenier is a wonderful clothing wizard. She may not know how to read from a pattern but she can look at an old skirt, a couple pairs of too small pants and see what type of new piece of clothing can be cobbled together. For our last convention I gave her a couple of yards of black material, some beautiful tapestry prints and a basic idea of what I wanted and within two hours she’d help me create my evil queen steampunk costume. She just has a real knack with the styling thing. Plus she’s a hair dresser so she keeps my near black mop looking fabulous.

We worked together on a few different photo shoots to create original photos for Insects & Angels, featured art in the issues and for references for her own book covers -which I designed for her. This particular shoot was with a wonderful local model named Charly. I took advantage of it to get promotional images for my Sepia Stains tarot deck. So here she’s my fortune teller.
