This Buddhist and Taoist temple was built in 1888 and is dedicated to the worship of the Taoist deity Na Tcha. The temple is very small and is located behind the Ruins of St. Paul’s. Designated one of the sites of the Historic Centre of Macau, Na Tcha is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Ah, even more spirals. this is a lovely image, Ethna! I’m always fascinated by the smoke of incense, but have found it is very hard to capture. Well done!
Thanks Marjolein. There was so much smoke it was easy to capture.
Love this – brings back wonderful memories of my visit to Macau. I went right in and looked up! Incense smoke can be a challenge but great when you capture it well.
Thank you Jodie. I’m glad it brings your Macau to mind.
