Thanks, Shylie:) There is a bandstand in Halifax’s Public Gardens which had a red roof much like this one, but a couple of years ago that bandstand was restored to its original colors from 1887. Another piece of my childhood gone. Sigh:) I prefer the bright red which was a 1970s reno. I hope they’ll leave the bandstand in Point Pleasant Park alone and keep the bright red roof.
