Another illustration for “Liquid Dreams”.

My first attempt on acrylics!

Chasing After Light

I’d chase after you at the speed of light,

but what’s the point?
You’re already ahead of me.

Instead I’ll pace my self,
continue to move forward,
knowing that at some point in time,
you’ll come across a mirror
and reflect upon it.

At which point,

I’ll still be traveling towards you.
With open arms and a smile on my face,
I’ll meet you a long the way.

GORGEOUS! I LOVE acrylics! You’ve done a wonderful job with them. I find them to be a bit more controllable and forgiving than watercolors but you can acheive the same effects.

  • yes, that’s what I’ve learned, but it was quite a fight in the beginning. i think i am too used to the watercolor ways, subtle, but at the same time so demanding. acrylics boldness was such a shock in the beginning, but i think i am learning its tricks after all… i’m excited for more!

Absolutely stunning, interesting, soul filled piece… great color and composition too and the acrylics look really great, you kept the translucent aspect of your work so beautifully! :)
