Ellen is a new comer to Red Bubble and the art world as a whole. Outside of three years of drafting while in high school, Ellen has no formal training.

She got her BS in Flori-culture & Ornamental Horticulture and then returned to her family’s fifth generation farm on the East End of Long Island. Ellen created a Wholesale Division of Talmage Farm supplying many Institutions in Metropolitan New York including the New York & Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, Tavern on the Greene and Battery Park City
Ellen loves to lecture to gardeners of all ages. She has had speaking engagements all over the country and wrote two children’s gardening books.

Ellen semi-retired January 2010. She picked up a silk flower, color pencils and a sketch pad just to try… Handling so many plants over the years has given Ellen fresh perspective and a style all her own.
