I am 23 years old and have always enjoyed photography. I grew up in a very beautiful area of the country, and, as a result, had lots of great scenery to practice with! :)
I am currently a teacher, and I am going to grad school in my “spare time.” Photography is a wonderful way to relax at the end of a long day. I’d love to hear from anyone who enjoys nature photography or wants to chat about how you got started in your career and interest in art. :)
I am a Christian, and I enjoy capturing the Lord’s creation through photography. I love a quotation I read once by C.S. Lewis: “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen—not just because I see it, but because, by it, I see everything else.” I hope you see something here that you enjoy!

His den was his haven—his life-sized “man-hole” where he could crawl away from all his troubles, flip on the sports station, and get away from it all. That’s what my father said.
My father always said that the only thing more difficult than solving world peace was finding time to take a vacation.
He asked them all what genus and species they were. As I recall, a few of the guys actually took it as a compliment—until I told them it was “genus,” not “genius.”
I named the four quail Eenie, Meenie, Minie, and Moe and apologized to Moe for her masculine name.
