Kilmainham Gaol in Dublin is a former prison, now a museum. It played an important part in Irish history, as many leaders of Irish rebellions were imprisoned and some executed in the prison by the British and latterly in 1923 by the Irish Free State.

    One of the erriest place I have ever visited, but something about this place pulled me back many times as a child.
