Hi everybody. Going to stay off redbubble for a few days, will be back in mid-January or so. Thank you so much everybody for all your comments and support over the year. Looking forward to seeing all your work after I come back. Happy New Year everybody! xx ☺
I was really happy to get the news that I’d won the ‘We Need An Avatar!’ challenge from the World Beneath Our Feet group with my Path through the cobblestones. I get a 20dollar voucher, yeppee!! Thanks a million to the people that voted for my photograph!
I was very happy to be contacted to take part in this photography exhibition at the George Bernard Shaw pub, Dublin, from the 6th of October to the 3rd of November. I’m going to have one framed work there which will be alongside that of other 13 photographers. I take a lot of my graffiti shots right beside that pub so I decided to do a collage of 3 of those for the exhibition. This will be one of them:
If anybody happens to be around Dublin on the 6th I’ll be there for the opening from 7 and would love to see you!
I was very happy to be given the opportunity to collaborate in the design of the cover for a cd featuring street musicians playing Irish music. I was contacted by one of the musicians taking part, Brenda Malloy, a brilliant harpist, about my photo of Máire Ní Bheglaoich playing the concertina
Thank you, Brenda and Máire for this great opportunity. You can see the cd cover here
After a very difficult couple of weeks (my sister-in-law died from cancer last Friday) I was cheered up this morning to see that I’d made a sale in Redbubble! It is something small and trivial but it made me happy nevertheless. Somebody bought a framed print (my first framed print sale) of Trinity College, Dublin
So thanks a million to whoever it was! Sorry to everybody for not having replied to your latest comments yet. I hope to be able to get back into my stride soon and start replying and posting again
Arrived back from a week’s holiday in Spain and had a very nice surprise, another RB sale! Thanks a lot to whoever bought a card of my ‘Palm leaf zoom’!!
By the way, I took this in one of the glasshouses at Dublin’s beautiful Botanic Gardens. Andrew Jones and myself are planning a meet at 11.00am on Saturday 2nd April here and would be delighted if you could join us for a few hours of photography. Drop either one of us a mail so we can work out the numbers interested.
