No worries, no pain,
just playing in the rain.

I’d be flying high,
laughing hard,
and touching the sky.

I would never be tamed.
I’d be crazy and wild
and play like a child,

I’d be skipping, and dancing, singing too.
I would never be lonely, restless
or blue.

It was in January of 2010 that I created this. The weather was cold and dreary. My body ached as I remembered that I was once beautiful and didn’t know it. I was once young and limber and I took it for granted. But I close my eyes and I am young again. I can dance and fly and play. I am a dreamer :) but on the inside, this IS me.

This is my first attempt at writing anything that resembles poetry.
Obviously I am having a few issues with getting older : )
