Raised in Brooklyn, I moved to South Florida in 1973 and after retiring became a free-lance writer. Most of my time is spent writing ad copy and working on a manuscript based on my father, an honest peaceful man who due to circumstances became an underling of the mob on the New York waterfront. Between pauses I write articles and short stories. In 2003 I had a memoir published in a New York magazine.
