Alone

Really,
aren’t we all
alone,
really?

We are never alone when we know God. He is only a whisper away.

i am feeling alone those days except i am in redbubble. but much happier than people who has nothing to do after retirement. i found it is very hard to find people who is interested in fine art in this real world. only redbubble is my consolation now.

Isn’t it interesting that being alone can be a good thing too? When we do not have that option to be alone we often miss being alone.

  • Yes indeed..in fact I think I usually prefer it! I am never lonely and I enjoy my own company…I wrote this little “poem” after a night of very enoyable company of family and friends…we had 5 young Canadian travellers staying the night (my niece and nephew and their entourage)…but despite the sparkling, convivial conversation and good company, I still observed a very distinct feeling of “aloneness”…of living in a different world… and wanted to record it. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Estelle..Are you really alone or do you just feel alone? I guess I am asking because now that I had to quit work(10 yrs. ago) and now I am even having trouble making it to Church atleast once a week; even tho I have my son that helps me a lot, I just feel so alone. I have one best friend who is also disabled but she gets out more than I an quite often we will go a month and not even do anything together.I have always been one of those people who had to have time for themselves too. I feel good when I am busy with redbubble and photos but when that gets turned off and I am alone in my room, I feel totally alone. I just don’t think any f us ever get use to not being able to work and do the things we use to do. If it wasn’t for God in my life I would feel hopeless. He has always been my strength through worse than this and always will be. God Bless. trisha
