Hello….

Thank you for visiting my bubble…

I live on the banks of Murrumbidgee River in southern NSW, Australia, with my wonderful husband Dennis, our horses, two Kats called Keith & Kevin and some chooks.. Some years ago we departed from the materialistic, consumerist environment we lived in and now have a hobby farm in the bush where we grow organic fruit and veggies in our pursuit of simpler life. Our property is surrounded by mountains and backs onto a State Forest Park, with spectacular views and loads of wildlife. The nearest town or shop is about 60 kilometres away, so we don’t go to town very often.

I have always been interested in art but only started painting and drawing in the last couple of years. I have had no formal training and am learning as I go. One of my (many) life goals is to develop into a competent artist and produce artwork I can be proud of. My chief inspiration is God’s handiwork.

Interests: God and His creation, painting, drawing, photography, writing, natural horsemanship, classical music, jazz, world politics, organic gardening, cooking (making my own stuff) and self sufficiency (ie. not being dependent on multi-nationals for my daily bread). Currently studying psychotherapy.

Learning to paint in isolation is a bit of a challenge – but I am very enthusiastic. There are only 11 other humans in the whole valley where I live….but hundreds of kangaroos, wombats, cockatoos, birds of every description….who are all great subjects but not good critics, so I would appreciate any advice or encouragement regarding painting or drawing. What I lack in skills I make up for in hopefulness. I love colour ..... clouds … people …. animals… gumtrees…mountains…the ocean… well, I am in love with Life really!

I value redbubble very much and have learned so much already from the wonderful people who live in here. I hope to be able to give a bit back.
