Taken with my Canon EOS Rebel XT during the fall hunting season. I love the wildlife in Idaho. Using a 18-55 lens, all with focal length out all the way. When I first viewed the picture I was disappointed wanted it closer, but it began to grow on me just as it was. The fall colors just popped! I had it printed and it was just amazing. The print sold right away. MUST SEE LARGER TO APPRECIATE.

Viewing this enlarged is amazing. At first I thought maybe you should have zoomed in more on the deer, but I’m with you. . .after seeing it enlarged, the foliage and colors reflected in the water add a whole lot to the entire photo. Nice work! Instant Fave!

Karon: thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I thought the same thing, especially when I saw it in print…it looks like an oil painting. It is one of my favorites of my own work.
