Raven Waves
This one is meant to act as a sort of counterpoint to Pristine. I tried to use a similar theme but take it in a slightly different direction. Personally, I like this one better.
My husband likes Pristine better, oddly. :P

Very strong, I love the diagonal created by the birds and “s” shape of the mermaid. Great color scheme as well, cold and dark.

Oooh… Very nice. I love the sharpness of this image, how the wings look like spikes, very nasty, yet the male’s/creature’s form is elegant and beautiful. I also really like the darker tones of the clouds in the distance, which help create the atmosphere perfectly… the waves are wonderful too. Very well done here. Beautifully drawn :-)

Thanks. I liked how his wings turned out as well though they’re probably not remotely realistic. But still, I have to say that this is currently one of my favorite pieces. It’s one of the few that actually turned out the way I planned. :)
