I was born in 1980 in Dallas, Texas and lived in and around that area for most of my life. I’ve had a life-long love for faerie tales and anything belonging to the realm of magic so when I started drawing at age 11, it didn’t take long for fantasy to take over.
By the time I was in highschool, that was pretty much the only thing I drew. I didn’t start painting until I was 22. I experimented with acrylics, oils, pastels, watercolors, digital art, you name it. I eventually fell in love with watercolors though I’m still experimenting with and trying to hone my skills at acrylics and digital mediums.
My style is constantly evolving as I grow as an artist and as I find new inspirations. I try to avoid fantasy stereotypes or, if I go there, to bring something new to an old idea. More than anything, I just try to create art that others can enjoy as much as I enjoy creating it.
