Aloha!

I received my first camera in my late 20’s, and have been hooked ever since!

After majoring in graphic design, I found the transition to capturing composition, detail, color and texture through the lens, a natural one.

Originally from Ohio, I moved to Maui, Hawaii in 1987, where I continued my dive training up through instructor.

I was honored to learn the art of underwater photography with the late, great, Jim Church, and the legendary Stan Waterman during trips to Micronesia, Fiji and throughout Hawaii.

My first foray into the world of professional photography has been through my underwater images, which were shot with a Nikonos V, via slide film.

I have since made the switch to digital, and am expanding my portfolio to include all facets of photography.

I love sharing my images with you. Please enjoy, and let me know what you think!

Dawn
