Spotted Garden Eel, North Sulawesi, Indonesiaby Erik Schlogl
Spotted Garden Eel (Heteroconger hassi) off Manado, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. These fish emerge vertically from their holes in the sand and often one can see large groups of them swaying in the current like a field of reeds in the wind – hence the name “garden eel.”
