Artist's Description

Here’s my (first) take on what has to be a “must-have” photo in every Sydneyside HDR photographer’s portfolio. The Grand Staircase is located in the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney, which was completed in 1898. Built with government funds during a severe recession, the execution of its elaborate decor and architecture gave work to many unemployed craftsmen – with a worthwhile result!

2460 views as at August 23rd, 2015.

Equipment : Nikon D300s, AF DX Fisheye-Nikkor 10.5mm lens
Technique: 4 bracketed RAW images processed in Photomatix and tidied up slightly in Lightroom.
