Sydney Opera illuminated in colour as part of LUMINOUS, “a festival of music, ideas, light and performance,” curated by Brian Eno and part of Vivid Sydney 2009, a new winter festival in the capital city of New South Wales.

Many people photographed the Opera House when it was lit up like this, but here’s a capture I couldn’t resist uploading.

Equipment : Nikon D300, tripod, Nikon 18-200mm lens
Technique: 5 bracketed RAW images (2EV steps from -4EV to +4EV), processed in Photomatix and tidied up slightly in Lightroom.
