The Harbour Bridge lit for Vivid Sydney 2013, Sydney, New South Wales Australia. Construction on the Sydney Harbour Bridge was begun in 1924; it was completed eight years later and opened on 19 March 1932. The top of the bridge stands 134 metres above the harbour, making it the largest (but not longest) steel arch bridge in the world.
