Very cute – I was just up diving in Indonesia myself but couldnt find any of these little guys. Got any tips on where they live?

  • Erik Schlogl replied

Well, this one was on an orange sponge at a depth of about 10m (Dive site: “Open Sea Point” – though pretty close to shore, actually). But it was tiny – only about 2cm across, including the legs – and I doubt that I would have easily found it myself. The trick on away trips is to have a good local guide who knows where the critters live. We were diving out of Cocotinos Resort in Manado, and our guide found just about everything, except a Weedy Scorpionfish (but I already have a shot of that).
