I love how the illumination tends to guide your attention selectively and how something within the photo is singled out without having to be large or situated centrally in the shot. Similarly, secondary features can be subdued. All this without ‘surgical interventions’ (photoshop) which would alter the inventory of the photo itself. Masterful work. Steve

Well this surgeon doesn’t own a blade… I have never used Photoshop, Just Canon Raw DPP and a little freebie that came with the scanner that allows me to crop and resize.
One day I will probably try it, but I guess I need to have a justification for $1000 of software.
