I began photographing at school with a simple 6 × 9 Box named “Agfa Clack”. Later I learned to develop black and white films. As a student I bought my first SLR, but soon came an interruption because developing colour films was too complicated.
In 2001 I got my first digital camera and some years later I was glad to take my first pictures with a digital SLR, a Canon 350D. Since 2010 I own a newer Canon with 18 MP, a fantastic camera.
Sometimes I need the help of my wife when working with PhotoShop or programs like this, because I am little bit colourblind. If you notice amazing colours in my pictures, may be I did not recognize it, may be it’s intended. :-))
I prefer photographing architecture and acting people, I don’t like posing. Often it is not allowed to take pictures or you need a model release therefore only remains nature to photograph.
Not bad, but a little too much competition.
In May 2010 I tried to photograph with a retro-adapter and old lenses, 28, 35 and 50 mm, I used during analog times. Now I tasted blood!
In the meantime the macro equipment is enriched by a Canon 60mm and a 100mm 1:2,8 L macro lense and several extension tubes.
