This is a conceptual photographic image which needs to be enlarged to fully appreciate the complexity of detail. The shape of The Holy Cross is interwoven with circles and concentric patterns to symbolise union and eternity. The crucifix is also shown as light out of darkness to symbolise the birth of creation in the void. The entire image is made up from repeated patterns based upon a simple shell shape formed from man-made architecture as a symbol bonding humanities endeavours with the spirit of Nature.
