Really pleased you like it… wall diving is the best way to free your mind I know of… have had the most amazing flying dreams after experiences like this one :)
Like it. Why don’t you ever (it seems at least) shoot underwater in color?
Thank you for posting. I’ve always been fascinated by the textures, shapes and patterns underwater and had already seen so many wonderful full colour images by other artists when I started (David Doubilet for instance is unbeatable!) that I felt b&w toned images would differentiate mine from many others. When these are enlarged, the film grain also comes through which makes them appear like pencil or charcoal drawings (when printed on matt watercolour paper especially) I had a number of one-man exhibitions with these and sold many limited edition prints before posting them here for more general circulation.Perhaps I should give colour a try though… must admit those marine landscapes in full colour are quite breathtaking at times :)
WOW!! Great capture, Andrew!!
Thanks for posting Laurie. There’s nothing quite like scuba diving for inspiration :-)
