Fantastic capture of these gorgeous little pups, they make the most wonderful pets, we have had a few over the years, and they are wonderful dogs. hugsxxx

  • Thank you for posting Hilary. Must admit I was smitten with them… only had Border Collies myself before… but these are adoreable and both pups and parents had great temperaments :)

So very, VERY sweet! The chap in the middle looks like my boy Frog. He is many years gone and this brings back some great memories! Like the cesarian delivery of three nyla-bones. We caught him swallowing one and called the vet. We tried ipecac to no avail so the vet went in. He found THREE. After the delivery, Frog was not allowed nyla-bones or any other small toys. (these were the medium sized bones too, still amazed he was able to swallow them.) There was also the stinging nettle incident. We took him out with us to tend to the goats, being a show dog he still had his unmentionables. We noticed he wasn’t underfoot and turned to give the pasture a look. He was galloping blissfully through a patch of young nettles. After taking him back to the house for inspection he appeared fine with the exception of a noticeable red tint and swelling to his aforementioned parts. He never acted like it bothered him, but the memory makes my poor husband wince to this day. For being trouble on four legs, he was unquestionably the happiest little ball of sweetness I have ever known.

  • Thank you for sharing your memories here Heather… as animal lovers – we really appreciate the friendship, love and joy that our pets bring with them… + “of course” we never forget :)
