    Fantastic photo – the colours through the smoke are brilliant and you’ve really captured the scale of this massive tree (84metres!?!?)

    Yeah, this one’s 84 metres – but a few days later we visited one that was 91.7 metres. The tallest tree on record in the world was one of these Eucalyptus Regnans in Victoria – unfortunately they only found out it was the tallest when they cut it down – it was about 130m high (or long by that stage) :-(
