    Yes, it’s pretty small, but worth a visit.

    It’s a sad story that the government sold it off because “they couldn’t afford to maintain it”. Now you have bird pens with sponsorship logos from mining & logging companies hanging on the outside – the very people responsible for destroying their habitat.

    I put the “couldn’t afford” it part in quotation marks because the PNG government would have a lot more money to spend if so much wasn’t squandered in corruption.
