Nature Preserves All of Life
God gave the world this remarkable gift…the breathtaking beauty of nature. I knew when I started this drawing I wanted to express my feelings, through my art, of how I feel about this planet and how we have treated it…or at least how I feel we should be treating it. So many gifts are given to us every day, some we take for granted. We can no longer take nature for granted, it may not always be with us…the animals, plants, the landscape, all being changed at the hands of us…humans. We are destroying the awe-inspiring gift given to us, and we still continue to do it daily.

The tree symbolizes how the earth is being held together by nature…if we lose it we will lose ourselves…our gift…given to us to take care of, to enjoy, to admire, to call home.
