I’ve come back several times to look at this. I can’t quite get ‘a child chain :)’ But I’ll tell you what comes to mind every time I see it.Years ago in a big 2 story house in Kansas City, for some reason my yard was very popular with a huge bundle of birds … all alike; don’t know what they were. I would come out on the porch & they would cover my front yard. At some moment, all would take off at exactly the same time. I watched them over and over. Always watching for a leader. I found none. I finally decided the only possible answer (& I still believe this) is that there is an electrical charge connecting all the brains into one when they were bunched together. They thought and reacted as one. I see, in your picture, a bit of electrical activity connecting the children. Not an extreme amount but enough to make me smile. Whatever they’re thinking as they view Kieron on the ground … I would say it was a joint thought :) I love the picture.

Beautiful. Makes me feel like I’ve just woken up on the ground with a group of curious children wondering who I am…
