I was very lucky and spoiled on the weekend when my boyfriend bought me a new Canon DSLR complete with two lenses!
It’s an EOS 400D and it came with a regular kit lens and a telephoto lens. Yay for products being superseded and making equipment just that little bit more affordable!
I’ve been playing with my new toy practically non-stop since I got it, ah how exciting!
Just thought I’d share the news, I can take the shameless begging for better equipment off my profile now. =)

I had a play with a 400D a few weeks ago. Looks like a great camera to really take that next step with, without being too heavy.

Hey Steve, it’s going ok, although I’ve had to slow down with my photography because uni has started back again. Ten weeks and I’m free to not feel guilty any time I’m taking photos and not studying. Yay!! How are things with you?

Things are good but im busy too. Im driving a computer about 18 hours a day this week.
Just back from two weeks OS cruising South Pac (South Pacific). My jelly sea legs were truely something to behold.
