On assignment for my college’s newspaper the “Valley Forge” on August 29, 2009.
This picture is something every sports photographer looks for and is a dream shot. There arn’t many people on here who understand how hard this is to get. I fired 8 shots a second to get this with my Mk.II-N. Out of all 8 shots, there was only one in the air, this. The picture shows how hard it is to capture a moving target, especially while mid-air and be able to freeze the shot forever. As a professional sports photographer it’s my 2nd best. The first I cannot use because it is copyrighted to the “Rockford Register Star” newspaper. But, I still love this picture.

Amazing capture….how did you get them to pose like that? Can they do it again!? My favorite part is the turf that is still on the shoe! WOW! Keep at it!
