It's good to be back ...

Over the past month or so I’ve been honoured by a number of features for which I never gave proper thanks in my journal. It will be impractical to try and catch up now, but I at least want to acknowledge features of the last few days. Thank you so much to all the group hosts!

Joao Silva, one of South Africa’s top war photographers, lost both his legs in a bomb blast in Afghanistan on Friday. "While waiting to be evacuated, Silva continued photographing the scene of the explosion. "
