my soul-pool
of dark gold
sits
in the deep
untouched, unstirred
like a silent sun
of hot bronze
where only a prayer
touches the surface
of holy breath in the gentle dark -
the quiet fish
of silver, blue, gold
glide like dream and speak water
through the cracks and crevices
of me
through you.
and in the half-light
your sacredness
takes shape like a fragile boat -
the tip of your thirsty lip
no longer salt-dry
kisses
and awakens
poetry

These words, as all of your words, are from that deep, still place.
May we dip our cups and fill our minds with these ancient sacred thoughts.
Immerse ourselves in who we really are. Water-speakers and endless truth seekers drawn ever into this pool of infinity. x
I love your insight, dear friend.
and you’re one of those water-speakers, did you know that? ;D
I love how our souls can take the shape of anything. I often think of the soul as a dark pool of gold where fish swim like thoughts. I think the soul is like water… xx

always you remind me of me—or maybe it’s that it feels like I can feel the same winds you do…you know?.
:)
you remind me of me too!
In that free, deep thinking feeling kind of way. Your writing always feels like you pulled it from this deep place within me. I really think we feel the same wind, my kindred soul-fish xx
