hey charlie :)it has been a long time… it’s kind of strange to even add a new work, i didn’t know whether i even should, but here it is. I invested so much of myself in building my art portfolio on this site, so many lovely memories here, so much of my growth started here..i reminisce often. it’s nice to have people like you welcome my art again x
Thank you Ina :)
A fascinating beautiful portrait , delicate with a pure beauty
Thank you so much! I appreciate your visit. This is one of my favorite works I’ve done this year :)
Dream state is a matter of heart-over-mind. This Pomegranate Woman is very attractive to my sense of (he)art. Kudos, dear Erika for such a sensitive (and sensual) creation.
Vasile, it means a lot for you to come and visit this work, it’s a very special one for me for many reasons. Your way of seeing the Pomegranate Woman is very close to how I tried to express her, for it was in the dream state that she came to be. Thank you for your words.
I adore the pomegranates in her hair. I’ve been experimenting with a similar theme. What’s funny is as I was listening to my favorite band on a random playlist and their song “Pomegranate" came on just a was typing this! (it’s also the title of their album, but my playlist was set on random).
Hi Kanchan! I love your comment!Isn’t the synchronization of things beautiful? It feels like pomegranates are in our minds. I’ve been thinking a lot about them too, and I’m quite addicted to drawing them. Their color is incredibly beautiful and rich, and the fruit itself overall feels full of meaning, and of course I like weaving my own meanings into it ;) What band were you listening to, by the way?
