Imagination's Symphony by

my imagination
still pours from my mind
singing like music
sweeping me away like love

my dreams still burn
with the intensity of a million suns
drowned in creativity -
a myriad fragments of moon
inspire my soul, and I am free:

my world
still breathes
beautifully inside me,

beating, like my heart

and I am alive
because I dream -

and I still believe

a combination of these two drawings I believe:

    Oh darling Erika,
Simply earth changing for I felt the tremble beneath my feet and it reverberated all the way through me, with the most scrumptious colours and feelings. You are a true beauty.

Hi erika… love the sumptuousness of this, especially the blue tree, it looks almost like ink. Wonderful creative dream fodder :)

  • Hey Jim :)

and the tree looks like ink? how cool :D
It’s in colored pencil, I drew it in really dark.
but thank you so much, my friend. I got plenty of dream fodder ;D

    ’And I am alive because I dream… ’
Yes Erika. Keep dreaming. Keep believing.
It is what makes us who we are. And determines where we are going.
I love this piece my friend. And your accompanying words… I feel, that you feel awake. Refreshed… Excitement and adventure lie ahead. xxx

  • my friend… yes. You know.
Thank you so much for your constant kindness and support. You’ve helped me so much; and our adventure was one of the reasons that inspired me to create this. I still feel alive because I can dream… and that thought alone has made me see that I am still me, and that my art keeps me going and creates my path xxx

Erika this is so beautiful!I feel you have opened up a very important discussion here!
    *and I am alive
    because I dream -

    and I still believe*……

Our belief systems affects everything about us; they are the windows through which we see and feel the World. They also determine what pathway we take and what guiding principles we follow. Your work reminds me of being young! Of choices we can make of freshness, life and joy! You have used beautiful colours Erika and I can hear the music! Thinking of you always!!! Sending you a big healing hug! An inspiring healing painting!!! Thank you for sharing it with us all!Sx

  • You lovely soul…
your words are always so warm and true.
If my work reminds you of being young and life and joy then I’ve exceeded my own expectations. When I create that is exactly how I feel, and it’s amazing to see that that same inspiration does translate into my work. I often wonder if it does.
Sometimes things happen that make you believe in art and life and beauty even more. I am stubborn and steadfast in my belief in art and the beauty it can plant and create for the world. This belief of mine is what keeps me going, my dreams keep me alive.

You are indeed a special heart, Sophie.
and your healing, loving thoughts are felt halfway across the world x

Lovely deeply meaningful art both visually and in words, dreams and a belief in another way of seeing and feeling aro so important to the artist. the notes in the picture seemed to be dancing in the wave of colour with a sense of freedom and joy and it is this that I think is so vital to the work as a whole. You menation in the poem your world beating inside you, this to is vital for the moving foward with one’s vision.
Here what came to mind was a verse from the Bible, Luke’sGospel chpater 17 verse 21 where Jesus speaks of the kingdom of God being “within you” – interestingly the relevant Greek word can also be rendered as ‘among you’ or ‘within yor grasp.’
    Love from Grandpax

  • Yes, the world within is vital for moving forward with one’s vision. I love how you said that dear George, and I appreciate all your thoughts on my work. It makes me happy we share similar thoughts about life and art. x
