the new generation

Posted over 2 years ago

Every generation has the obligation to free men’s minds for a look at new world’s…to look out from a higher plateau from the last generation.
- Ellison S. Onizuka

I think I can hear the thunder rumbling in the distance right about now. The clouds approach the hills and embrace the naked sky of oblivion….I can feel the wind pick up as it brushes against my skin, electrically

You have a lit candle that lights up your spirit?

Posted over 2 years ago

You say you have a lit candle?
Then by all means, please turn it into a massive bonfire and start a blazing forest fire of new thought and creativity -a new beginning. Spread your inspiration across the world like fuel to fire and light up other hungry minds and thirsty souls. Give us your light, your inspiration, your love and let’s do away with this famine of enlightenment and spiritualit…

Between Living and Dreaming.....

Between living and dreaming there is a third thing. Guess it

- Antonio Machado

Ok, to be honest, I read this quote years ago, maybe when I was about fourteen, and I loved it even though I didn’t know what it meant. I wrote it down and put it away thinking that maybe with time, I’ll be able to figure out this third thing…..but I came upon this quote just yesterday, and I stood the…

Imperfect Society

Posted almost 3 years ago

If we know perfection is not possible
then why do we insist on being perfect?

If we know we’re flawed
then why do we hide it?

And if we know we’re all crazy and weird in our own way
then why are we afraid of showing it
and gasp when other people are fearless about expressing their own uniqueness and individuality?

Is society really that controlling of our ways of being and living?

Posted almost 3 years ago

This could mean a number of different things. I wrote it about a month ago. It could be that the heart no matter how many times you try to “kill” it, or do away with it, it’ll still be there, alive and beating. It could mean that we cause ourselves more pain by trying to do away with our hearts, rather than actually feeling the pain itself. It could also mean that having a heart…

Art For The World

Posted almost 3 years ago

These are some thoughts I had the other night and decided to share them with all of you. This isn’t well written, they’re just thoughts. I cover different things here, but I hope my thoughts flow, and make sense.

I used to think I was alone. That I would always be this odd, strange person with their own thoughts and world. I always thought that I would always have to figure things ou…

..more thoughts....

Posted about 3 years ago

This is something that I’ve questioned so so many times. Throughout my short life, I’ve met many people who have had painful experiences, I’ve listened to their stories and it amazes me how many have been able to pull through. I’ve had my share of pain, (like everyone else) but some people’s painful experiences exceed my own, my pain does not compare to theirs.

My qu…

Just some thoughts I had this morning.....

Posted about 3 years ago

As a child everything is so simple. But as we grow life becomes “layered” as we learn and experience things. We are influenced by the times we live in, the ideas and mentality of the time, the people we meet and speak with, books we read, the things we were taught in school, our own experiences, and our families. All of these things somehow shape and mold ourselves, our view of the wo…
